With WADE ASIA 2019 approaching with a greater, grander version next month (11-12 October, NSIC Grounds, New Delhi), this issue unveils names of some of the leaders who are going to be a part of the mega event. Distinguished architect, Ar Shirish Beri; Padma Shri Prathibha Prahlad, a renowned Bharatnatyam Dancer; legendary architect, Ar Sheila Sri Prakash; an academician par excellence, Nandita Abraham; conservation connoisseur, Ar Abha Narain Lambah; Pushpa Bector – the lady behind the successful, DLF Shopping Malls are amongst many such names.

Let us also meet the Former Director, National Institute of Design & Former Member Secretary, India Design Council – Mr Pradyumna Vyas, in this edition’s #10-on-10. Last but not the least, another ‘big’ name to be featured in #SurfacesReporterSep’19 Issue is Bjarke Ingels, founder, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG) whose projects showcase grandeur. Learnings From Wade Asia Masterclasses With Mentors

Wade masterclass with mentors has been a dream project. In 2016, it was conceptualised with the thought of creating a platform where young architects and designers could meet and interact with icons whom they admire, adore and look up to. To bring people from diverse fields of art, architecture and design to a common platform has been the primary motivation behind WADE MASTERCLASS, and with every successive year, this diversity has increased. This year 5 women from 5 different backgrounds are coming to answer some of the very significant questions, which we have received from all over India.
