As mutual funds and SIPs gain popularity, India’s stock market liquidity is set to rival that of the US, empowering listed firms and fostering the rise of multibillion-dollar revenue companies across diverse sectors.

Digital engagement is now mandatory for SME lending, as it cuts down on manual processes for approval.

SMEs should make sure they present a clear succession plan for their company. Most SMEs are family businesses, and the owners often fail to implement a solid succession plan. This creates a risk for lenders who worry about the risk of the owner/promoter leaving the business in a vulnerable position. The MSME sector is one of the pillars of the Indian economy that is contributing almost 30 percent of the country’s GDP and providing employment to more than 117 million people. In a globalised world where entrepreneurship is the lifeblood of modern economies and a cherished dream of millions of innovative people, it is only fitting that the MSME sector is receiving its due recognition and attention from the Indian government.
