Our maiden issue delves deeply into the subliminal layers of Surrealism, an art movement that defied convention. Andre Breton's popular movement had sympathisers like Picasso and leading stalwarts like Dali, Duchamp, Man Ray etc. giving it a shine that refuses to fade even today with contemporary artists. Arts Illustrated's first issue anchors on the surreal story of Alice in Wonderland to peak into the subconscious of the creative landscape and emerges with a striking issue of Surrealism. Our visual chronicle takes you on a curated tour of fine art photography, art, cinema, design and more.
