Desh 2 September 2021 issue focuses on the tragedy of Afghanistan. A perpetual playground for power contestation, the country has been endlessly embroiled in violence and war. For all the failures of the American intervention, many in Afghanistan had begun to forge a better way of life in the past years, and to hope for freedom and peace. The Taliban military blitz and capitulation of the government have left them at the mercy of a ruthless oppressor. The issue comprises essays by Anirban Chattopadhyay, Nazes Afroz and Samim Ahmed. আফগানিস্তান এবং বিশ্বরাজনীতি দর্শন
