Top Story: LADY MAYOR ON HER BIKE FOR ARTHUR’S WAY LAUNCH - The Mayor of Kildare, Councillor Fiona O’Loughlin, Deputy Emmet Stagg, local councillors and officials welcomed Minister Alan Kelly to Kildare last week for the official launch of Arthur’s Way. It was Kildare Fáilte which came up with the concept of a trail centred on Arthur Guinness linking Leixlip, Celbridge and Oughterard, places closely associated with the famous family of brewers and hence, the launch was hosted at the Grand Canal, near Ardclough, Co Kildare. The route encompasses the Village at Lyons, Castletown House and the canal path at Ardclough. Plus the rest of the week\'s local news and sport.
