We are totally thrilled to be featuring an exclusive photography campaign ‘#Storylines’, from anewmum, with award winning Photographer, Neely Ker-Fox. As a society, we as women in Ireland, are sometimes underinformed about the changes and challenges they we will experience during the first year after giving birth. Add to that the pressures of perfection as endorsed by media and society and it is no surprise that so many new mums experience a sense of loss, disconnect and depression. Neely Ker-Fox’s photographed eight mums across Ireland to showcase the beauty of women’s changed bodies after birth in all their glorious perfect imperfections. Adjusting to our new body is one side of the challenges waiting for us as new mums, but we also have to contend with the life altering reality that we are wholely responsible for this new little baby.
