The aquaculture subsector opens in 2020 with exports worth Rp 13 billion by PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk to the United States, Japan, the Philippines and Timor Leste.
The details, the export of tilapia fish fillets worth Rp 3.4 billion with the aim of US exports, processed tilapia worth Rp 3.5 billion to the Philippines; and processed eel with a value of Rp 6.1 billion to Japan. In addition to processed fish products, exports of fish feed worth Rp 300 million were also made to Timor Leste.
The export titles were held simultaneously on Monday (1/13), namely Banyuwangi - East Java, Medan - North Sumatra and Cirebon - West Java.
From records received by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), in 2019 the company's exports will be dominated by aquaculture products with a value of more than Rp 438 billion. This value recorded a significant increase of 54% from 2018 which reached Rp 284 billion.
