In this issue

a year completes an entire rotation around the sun, and in this issue of Indonesia Tatler Society we celebrate all the stars in our universe that shone the brightest. Each and every 12 months of the past year was memorable and eventful and we have rounded up the most extravagant occasions of the year to shine on in print, as well as present you with the much-awaited Top 500 list of the most eminent people of 2014.
The first spark of glamour in this issue is our very own annual Indonesia Tatler Ball, where the crème de la crème of society flocked together in November last year dressed to the nines for our 1920’s Gatsby inspired theme. We have also selected 11 of the Best Couples for this special issue. These couples have not only managed to live up to our expectations but have all given us an inspiring deeper motivation to celebrate them. Affluence evidently follows style, so we chose 20 Style Icons who have impressed us with their charm, elegance, and attire or simply just in the way they have managed to stand out from the crowd. These selected stars have not only appealed to us because of their physical beauty, but also due to their achievements and enigmatic personalities.
Every year Asia Tatler invites a handful of Southeast Asia’s most beautiful ladies for the Asia’s Most Stylish photoshoot. This year, our ladies were taken to the Park Hyatt Beijing, China. Indonesia’s Ira Kwa was one of the selected, and did her country proud. This mother of two, who studied finance and was supposed to get lost in the world of numbers as a banker, is the astonishing and jet-setting owner of Jade boutique.
Indonesia Tatler Society magazine is the determining showcase for the who’s who in society, the social butterflies and, of course, the A-listers about town. With this issue we thank and celebrate each and every one of you for your loyalty and dedication towards Indonesia Tatler and our other publications.
