去年，许多世界领先的非织造布生产商的销售额并未见到有大的增长，但是，像往常一样，销售数字告诉我们的只是故事的一小部分。销售额变低主要是因为受到较低的原料价格和汇率的负面影响。但是紧随着新的投资和生产线升级之后，我们看到所有应用市场以及地区的销售额都在持续增长。
今年，在我们的世界非织造布生产商40强报道中，出现了两张新的面孔——浙江金三发和兴泰无纺，两家都是来自中国的公司。我们期待在接下来几年内能看到更多来自中国的中坚力量。除了新的公司，原有成员也出现了较大的变化。杜邦正在准备与化工巨头陶氏（Dow）合并。同时， Ahlstrom也正式与Munksjö合并，合并后的公司将专注于基于纤维的解决方案。
正如过去几年那样，投资仍然是今年报道的一个重要主题。许多公司都在计划新的生产线。所有这些投资都充分表明了非织造布生产商对未来持乐观态度。这种乐观并不是没有原因的。非织造布不断在新的领域得到应用，同时原有的应用市场也保持着健康的发展。预计2017年及今后几年，销售额和利润仍将继续保持增长。详情请见本期《2017年世界非织造布生产商40强》报道。
