This is our Festival issue, a homage to the 3 day event (or 5) . 

For some it’s the electronic frequencies that beckon and for others the perennial rock band or maybe just getting there is half the fun. 

Water. From falling into it to fighting wars on it, no other element creates such mixed emotions. We marvel at it, scream at it, socialise in it and worship gods in it. We pay too much for it yet place no value on it. It’s either half-empty or half-full and what we have right now is all we, on this planet are ever going to have. Nothing more.
So raise your overpriced plastic bottle and give a liitle credit to your favourite two-parts Hydrogen and one-part Oxygen and get wet with me.

It’s a nice thought and true enough

We need music and lots of it: drums, horns, guitars and even those head-splitting Vuvuzuelas that caught the world’s attention during South Africa’s hosting of the FIFA world cup. Crazy Frog on the other hand would not have been missed.

Gotta have dance: every kind be it Samba, Lambada, Breaking, Pogo-ing, Vogueing, Tango or Tapping and even the Macarena has it’s place (somewhere, I’m sure).

Colour of course almost goes without saying but say I will:

pure as is possible.

in the way of this cultural explosion of colour and music.
