Do you sometimes feel the need for speed, or do you like to take it slow?

Here at Schön! we want the best of both worlds, and so we invite you to ‘fast forward and rewind’ in this, our 27th issue.

In two short years, our cover star Brooke Candy has sped from relative obscurity to megastardom. Dressed in fiery red, in a shoot by photographer Michael Flores and Nicola Formichetti, she is as arresting as a Stop! sign. In contrast, star of Pretty Little Liars Troian Bellisario goes for the mellower colours of the season, and China’s singing sensation Laure Shang plays with motion in a graphic shoot by photographer Leslie Hsu.

While some of the talent featured on our pages shot to fame in next to no time, others have been slowly seducing us for years, like celebrated fine jewellery designer Stephen Webster, young actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster (who first stole our hearts in Love Actually in 2003), and cutting edge footwear brand United Nude. As always, we showcase the models of the moment, including Maggie Jablonski, Lida Fox, Laura O’Grady, Matt Trehe, Rosie Tapner and Franzi Mueller.

So, whether you like to live life in the fast lane or prefer to take in the scenery, we have something for you. Buckle up or kick back – you pick the pace – and enjoy!
