Lineside, stations, and, yes, even the trains were packed to the brim over the weekend of January 27-29 when the UK’s only double-track main line held its winter steam gala, the first event of its 50th anniversary year, which welcomed BR 5MT No. 73082 Camelot and Urie S15 No. 506 as guests, working both passenger and freight trains.
