The current situation is not about someone being a dictator, it is about
not having the skills of communication and discussing the differences
from both sides.
We all know that war is a business for many companies and
organisations, which leads us to the greedy people who are running
these companies or countries. To steal resources from another nation
under the name of democracy, human rights and etc.
Many countries have been bullied to obey the rules of bullier, and if
don’t obey, they become enemies and are called so many names.
They see it as their right to invade other sovereign counties but it is
not good for any other nations because if they do, they become an
aggressor. I don’t agree with any war and aggressive behaviour.
Before we give advice to anyone, we should look at our own behaviour.
Our behaviour can trigger reactions from anyone.
A bully should be stopped for not being bullied!

Why so much anger!

Happy New Year.

It is more than 2 years that the world is dealing with Covid 19. It has evolved with our daily life. If we believe in democracy and freedom of speech (non-existence objects), we should start practising listening to those who have different views and still stay united as a society.It seems unvaccinated people are angrier in society and their anger is targeting their friends and families. 

A friend of mine messaged me after a year and directly asked me about my political views and being vaccinated. I responded accordingly to her questions. Then her response was shocking!She said that I am supporting fascist and she was happy that she asked the question because she can filter people out of her life!
Why so much anger? Why do we have to filter people based on their politics, religion and any views they may have? We should build a united society and don’t allow politicians and religious leaders to divide us.

The Lost War

After 20 years of war in Afghanistan, the US and its allies failed to remove the Taliban who are a terrorist group that was created by a few countries and the CIA.

Afghanistan’s resources were stolen by the US and its allies. Now, the US pulled out of the country after signing a peace agreement in 2018 by Pampeo and the current Taliban leader, who was released from Pakistan prison under the US request without the Afghanistan government. 

Who is responsible for the current situation? 

Shouldn’t the US government be on trial for the crime they committed? 

Shouldn’t Europe learn to stand up to the US government and say enough is enough and No more war in the name of spreading democracy and human rights?

We have witnessed the kind of democracy the US government has spread in Iraq and Libya. 

What Now?

Yes, the summer is here, warmer than last year!

but we are more free than last year! 

The vaccine has allowed us to move around the cities and countries. We are almost getting there to get back to our normal life. 

Depending on the time of the day the feeling is different. Also, it’s different when it rains, when it gets super hot or when it is very special warm with a refreshing breeze shows up. Actually, I could even dedicate the whole letter just for summer rain, because it’s that special... Always with its own story.

Own your summer feeling. Take it all in. Let it do its job, giving us that bit of missing inspiration, reckless piece of joy. Let yourself to get lost in a summer feeling.

Emotions


“A strong feeling deriving from one’s circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.” Emotions are responses to significant internal and external events. Emotions are intense feelings that are directed at someone, something or self. 
There are many emotions surrounded us that could cause the moment of living hell or heaven! 

We are responsible to control our emotions and convert the negative ones to positive emotions. Researchers summarized the emotions towards 5 labelling the basic human emotions, that there are 5 basic emotions: joy, fear, sadness, disgust and anger.

4 out of 5 basic human emotions are negative. It is ok to be sad, disgusted, angry or fear of something, but if we focus on Joy, we can convert those negative emotions to joy. You may wonder, how we can convert negative emotions to positive? Well, it is very simple, ACCEPTANCE of the event and emotions.

Acceptance takes you miles away from negative emotions, and questioning them, may settle in your mind, which directs you to deeper sad emotions.
Accept the moments, smile and go forward!

Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes with respect to events and circumstances in one’s life or the world at large. As a verb, its definitions include: “expect with confidence” and “to cherish a desire with anticipation.” 

During this period of our life that many have lost their loved ones as the result of Corona (Covid-19), there have been some lights of hope appears! Nobody knows how effective these vaccines are, but it is a few steps forward to make a change and re-create our life again!

We added a new category to L’Affaire magazine. Landscape photography is our new section. We have seen great photographers at all level creating amazing images from our beautiful earth. 

You may ask why we added Landscape photography to our magazine! During COVID 19 period, Photographers haven’t been able to do what they love to do in fashion, wedding and portraits. Therefore, they turn to landscape photography or street photography as a hobby to keep them engaged and motivated.

Therefore, we would like to see more landscape images.

During the Corona epidemic, we noticed that some businesses haven’t been fair and have put pressure on people; especially landlords and real estates. 

When we decide to rent a home, real states or landlords ask for references but we never ask for references from them, are they reliable landlords or real states?

We have been developing a mobile app for tenants to leave reviews and rate their landlords and real estate agencies.

Coronavirus!

We are all in quarantine! Some fed up with it and others enjoy the quality of the moments with their family. 

One thing for sure Corona Virus has thought us so far is to slow down and look around us. What do we see or remember?
Humanity, love and care that many people have shown to their friends and families, helping hands to go through these difficult times. I am excluding those selfish people that don’t think about other, the ones that we have seen on the social media!

Let’s not to forget, this difficult period can teach us how valuable we are for each other as well as respect our environment.
We need to change our mindset and lifestyle after Corona Virus to take care of ourselves, others and EARTH!

If you are feeling unwell, isolate yourself, think about people around you that you may infect them, and they may infect others. Self-isolation is one of the keys to break the chain so we all can get back to our daily life with a different perspective and vision to life!

We are almost ending the third year of L’Affaire magazine. It has been 3 great years with ups and downs that everybody goes through life. 

Through-out 3 years, we have come across many talented people, we have met a few of them in person, which has been a great pleasure.

I have 18 copies of the printed magazine on the bookshelf and every other time, I flip through them and get inspired by your great work. I also check the artist social media or website to learn what they have been up to.

Experiences.... Some might be pleasant and some might freak you out. But they all teach you something about yourself or others.

I am about to write the editor’s letter but my thoughts are all over the place. Checking the news sites, flipping through magazines or just letting thoughts to take me places... Wasting time?

What about listening to podcasts, going to a show or even just taking a moment to appreciate a beautiful fresh day? Or perhaps this time spent is giving you the knowledge, inspiration or just pure joy?  These days we push ourselves so hard that a moment of self-treat started to be considered as a waste of time. 
Let’s not judge ourselves too hard and remember that life, as well as creating, was meant to be enjoyed.

Hope. 
It is human nature to keep hoping. It’s what keeps us going, what makes us learn more, motivates us to experience new things. Because we all want something, we all hope for things to get better. And that is what makes us interested in living.

With a New Year, I wish everyone to wake our hopes up. Enough sleeping on it: time to do things, to feel things, to create and love.

Time to stop putting blocks on our dreams, stop coming up with excuses, because we are strong. We are stronger then we believe we are. I hope for everyone to get that light in the eyes, that spark we tend to have when we dream about something and we go for the dream.

It’s not often we get to take a moment to look back and realize that no matter what, it was a great year. We live in a very fast paced world where we get no time to stop, always looking for the next best thing or bigger accomplishment. 

Reminders to appreciate what you have gets lost in a crowded material world. 

How do we measure our success? By numbers, likes, luxurious purchases?... What about how you feel? Are you feeling involved in your own life? Are you driven to keep doing what you do? 

I keep hearing people say how thrilled they were when they got to explore freedom, even though, there was no material rewards for it. 

Perhaps the feel of euphoria can also be measurement of success? 

Perhaps it’s a good time to take a moment and just feel successful.

Have you ever browsed people in the real life rather than in the virtual world?
Sitting at the airport having my cup of coffee, looking at every person that passed by my table.
Every person defines beauty in his or her own skin, character and personality. Their style of clothing, their makeup or hairstyle, their walk and smile defines them as a beautiful person.
The virtual world has created a false impression of the human that we always want to look the same as someone else; without realising how beautiful we are in our skin.
Get up now, look at yourself in the mirror, smile and love the way you look. Be proud of who you are and develop you to become a better person and more beautiful at all levels.


Beauty has no restrictions. As well as art. Those who says differently can explain me why they concern only certain things beautiful, why you cannot create an art piece in the way you want to and why rules are created in the area where should be no rules. 

I’ve been hearing a lot lately people judging art and beauty in a very restrictive way, and here I was thinking that we live in a open world where everybody can express themselves the way they like.

Artists are sensitive people. We constantly have euphoric ups and depressive downs. We keep thinking about our work, both loving what we created and also doubting the art we have done! 

Creative mind is an entire different world where thoughts and emotions (excitement and misery) get tangled with each other. That’s why we create what we create. That’s why we see the world the way we see it. 

Don’t let anyone put you down for the way you express yourself.

Do you ever get that feeling of too many ideas and thoughts leading your mind to the explosion? 

There are times when it feels like nothing inspires you and there are times when all those good ideas starts popping and you don’t even know where to begin. 

Write them down! 

Make sure to put everything on paper, phone or even record your voice for future references. There are so many great things that we can do but we don’t get to do a lot of them, because we let them go. You might be guessing what am I talking about... Well those 5 minutes of bright sunshine we got here in London, brought some bright ideas, and I’m writing them down!

The world of arts and fashion is expanding quicker then ever, the rules get broken and what was a big no no before is now a big yes! Try to erase all the walls and rules that you have in your mind, because it’s an era where everyone can and should be heard. No matter what side you are on, just don’t hesitate to start a conversation about unconventional and maybe uncomfortable ideas.

In this issue you might find images that clash with each other, styles that might not belong together. But guess what? We are breaking the borders.
