Magazine Description

In this issue

When you reflect on your favourite family holiday memories, how often does the ocean play a part? Whether it's snuggling up in a cottage with an ocean view, sailing over the waves, or simply soaking up the sun while bobbing gently on a lilo, the ocean is often at the heart of happy family time. We're proud to introduce our first themed issue, and it's all about OCEANS! Our very special OCEANS issue has been lovingly created in partnership with our friends at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to highlight the plight of our planet's beautiful seas. We look at how families can enjoy the ocean responsibly. Discover the best spots to watch whales and dolphins ethically, learn how we can all help look after beaches and seas, and find out which of the UK's aquariums are working hard for marine conservation. As always, there's an amazing holiday to be won – this time it's a £6,500 holiday to Mauritius! Plus, to encourage kids to get involved, we're delighted to present our first ever kids' section! Here, little ones will find lots of fascinating ocean facts and plenty of great competitions, including a writing contest to win a family holiday in Ibiza. We hope you enjoy our special OCEANS issue – don't forget to celebrate World Oceans Day on Wednesday 8 June!
