Hot on the heels of our anniversary issue at the end of last year, this first
Indonesia Tatler Homes of 2015 presents you with a treasure trove of
inspiration and extraordinary themes. As well as the newest trends
and phenomena from the worlds of architecture, design and art around
the world, we also feature cultural and historical stories that have had
significant impact in the past and present, and will do so in the future.
Besides an exclusive interview with four owner of famous interiors brands in Jakarta, namely MOIE, BIKA, Goodrich and Ethnicraft, we also bring you the best of the world’s most beautiful residences. Most of these residences were influenced by the richness of the past blended with modern contemporary touches.

For example, we lift the lid on a premium condominium project boasting amazing views of the Bay Bridge in San Francisco, which was designed by Indonesian interior designer Jonathan Rachman. In Vienna, we turn our attention to an apartment located in a beautiful, classical property built at the turn of the century.

Here in Indonesia, we take a tour around an American-style residence in South Jakarta area and also look at a property packed with pieces from the owner’s exquisite art collection. And in a new section, we feature eight pages tagged ‘Working Space’, which takes us to a studio in Bandung owned by young Indonesian artist Arin Sunaryo.
