Racing high-tech drones in an underground salt mine, an NRL player turned big-wave surfer and four-wheel-driving in one of Australia’s most remote National Parks – these stories set the tone for the April/May 2020 issue of What Tradies Want magazine.

A new decade hasn’t made a great difference to Australia’s most popular tradies’ publication, What Tradies Want.
The first issue for 2020 continues the magazine’s commentary on the life and work of Australian tradesmen and women, including hands-on testing of iconic work vehicles from Toyota and a stack of power- and hand tools.
Aside from the hands-on testing, the issue has a look at some financing ideas and great new gear which, while maybe not essential on a work site, is a big contributor to every tradies’ leisure time.
What Tradies Want also tracked down, and had a chat to, Holly Sharpe, a young mum who operates an excavator for a living.
