With world-class players David Warner and Steve Smith and the emerging Mitchell Starc, the future looks very bright for the Australian Test team.Congratulations to Mitchell Johnson on a wonderful Test career. (See Matt Nicholson’s article on page 30). Mitchell was one of those very special players who could single-handedly turn the shape and the direction of a Test match. He will leave Test cricket as one of Australia great fast bowlers.I’m looking forward to a summer filled with great cricket. The West Indies arrive for a Test series; we have the hugely popular and exciting Big Bash League and the inaugural Women’s Big Bash League to look forward to.
