Elie Saab opens up about his childhood, the Maison he built, and his beloved Lebanon. His latest haute couture collection is photographed against a backdrop of vintage photos of Beirut, juxtaposing contemporary with the past. 
Inside the artistry issue, an exclusive feature with HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi sees the wife of the Ruler of Sharjah share the importance of preserving traditional Emirati crafts.

This March, all 27 editions of Vogue worldwide are dedicating their issues to creativity and fashion’s artistic spirit. For Vogue Arabia, celebrating in this month its 4th anniversary, the theme takes a truly local angle, with an issue fully dedicated to the best creative talents coming from the Middle East and North Africa. 
 The conceptual covers are shot by Moroccan photographer Mous Lamrabat. They offer a message of optimism in a world that is facing so many challenges. Shot in Marrakech, the images by Lamrabat invite the viewer inside his singular universe; one that challenges modern misconceptions of beauty, and explores creativity within the world of the absurd and the surreal. 
The March anniversary issue also highlights a range of topics surrounding art and what creativity means today. The June issue of Vogue Arabia is an ode to Lebanon – celebrating its courage, spirit, and pride. With economic issues and ongoing political struggles, the nation has once again found itself experiencing troubled times. This month, Vogue Arabia pays tribute to the country and its brave people, including cover star Majida El Roumi. The issue is fully dedicated to Lebanon, showcasing its biggest players in the fashion and beauty industry, as well as featuring exclusive interviews, shoots, and stories.

Vogue Arabia collaborated with four top models to create four bespoke covers for the May Do It Yourself issue. Working in front of, and behind, the lens, each one styled and art directed their shoots and talked about their life in quarantine. Our cover star is a working mother who has been at the top of her game for more than a decade, with nearly 10 million followers on Instagram she is a bona fide role model in the Middle East. In beauty, we explore the 2020 celebrity-approved treatments as well as the retreats to splash out on. A decluttering expert and advice from Stella McCartney continue our Vogue Values of living more sustainably.

As we enter a brand new decade, Vogue Arabia is embarking on a new mission to focus on sustainability and inclusivity as part of the Vogue Values campaign, which kicks off in the January 2020 issue. Vogue Values is a long-term commitment, standing for the values of diversity, responsibility, and respect for individuals, communities, and our natural environment. To promote the campaign, the cover story photographed by Elizaveta Porodina took place in the magical Kasbah Bab Ourika in Morocco, paying homage to the culture of the magnificent country, which has been inspiring the fashion world for decades. The shoot was fully styled with North African and Arab designers, highlighting Vogue Arabia’s ongoing campaign #buyarabdesigners.
