As the Abu Dhabi Formula 1 looms our cover feature stars Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE looks to drive rings around the competition on Friday, November 24 with their stonking Circoloco party featuring Loco Dice, Rampa, &ME; plus UK breakthrough artists Solardo. As the weather cools down, the season heats up and Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE have another incendiary party on the cards. Chilean maestro Luciano will be joined by Guti shortly, we take a look at Luciano's biggest tracks. We also sat down with hot property Charlotte de Witte to get to know one of the fastest rising stars in techno. With Mutek fast approaching we lift the lid on where this landmark event will be taking place. There is several mega parties on the horizon and we take a look at both Sensation and what is going down at BASE Dubai in the coming weeks. Elsewhere in Dubai the Move crew return with One Records and Illusion Records artist and top selector Seelie, they will be throwing down at the intimate rave cave of Casa Latina, ibis Hotel, Al Barsha on Thursday, October 26. With Dubai’s autumn season now well and truly bursting in to life we look at some of the hottest outdoor parties coming up. Let’s not forget our cover feature, which belongs to white hot techno night Decibel which turns the ripe old age of 2 and to celebrate they have Gregor Tresher dropping by. We caught up with Gregor to find out what is new in his world. The talk of the town recently has to be announcement that Mutek festival will be arriving in the Arab Emirates for its debut edition, we were lucky enough to have the exclusive details on the 2nd and final phase of artists. The mid-September is a magical time of year for Dubai’s music scene, all the sleeping giants arise from they’re slumber to deliver knock out line-ups for the new season. What better way to kick off our 300th issue with a bang than with our cover star – Groove on the Grass. Time and time again they prove why they are one of the best in the business and with Nicolas Jaar headlining with his out of this world live show as well as Robag Wruhme, Jacques Green (Live), DJ Tennis and Nightmares on Wax this is a show not to be missed. Another of the big venues to finally open their doors is Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE the opening salvo from the beach club is nothing short of incendiary. In the coming weeks BMI have Butch, Lee Curtiss, Francesca Lombardo, Rampue, Patrice Baumel and Martin Buttrich, not to mention all the usual craziness that goes along with their parties. More huge announcements from one of the success stories of last season – BASE. The D3 outdoor venue has unleashed a mammoth lineup for the coming season including a Defected party, Erick Morillo and Apollonia! We are very excited about see the French trio perform in that huge venue. White will also be back at Meydan for another show stopping season, more information coming on their guests coming soon. There was also huge news about electronic music festival Mutek coming to Dubai, it has since been revealed that the dates will be November 16 & 17 and will play host to none other than Jeff Mills and Dasha Rush. With the temperatures finally starting to subside, Dubai’s clubbing scene is starting to heat up. With Summer Vibes consistently throwing some of Dubai’s hottest parties, we profile their upcoming booking Flashmob. The summer season is now drawing to a close and as we wait with baited breath for the myriad of outdoor venues to throw open their door we take a look at what is coming up for the remainder of the summer. After our intrepid editor pounded the mean streets of Amsterdam, we get a full run down on what he came across while in the city of sin. We also take a look at where you can pull up a stool and take in one of the biggest boxing matches in recent history, the “Money Fight” between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather should be entertaining if nothing else. Kicking off our new feature on the DJ’s and promoters that helped to build the scene that we all now call home and first up is Conan Liquid. On to club business now and Summer Vibes have some great events coming up and we look at 2 of them with Kenny Glasgow and Eddie Richards dropping by a week apart. Plus Minus also continue their run of weekly guest lead parties and they welcome Romanian artist Cristi Cons to Bridgewater Tavern this month. The summer season is now fully underway and with the mercury hitting the high 40’s the party rages on indoors. Our cover feature this month belongs to an institution of summer season – Irish Village’s Hopfest. Infusion magazine sat down with captain of the Irish Village Dave Cattanach. It is the last issue before the start of the holy month of Ramadan and what an issue we have for you. With the summer break looming up before us, there is a huge range of closing parties to choose from. Kevin Saunderson will be heading up another hotly tipped closing party, The Belleville Three member will be putting a pin in Analog Room’s first season at new home Industrial Avenue, The Westin Hotel. Having been over 2 years in the making, we sit down with Shadi Megallaa to chat about his beloved record store The Flip Side and the long road he has travelled to bring it to life. We also chat to the hard-working resident team behind Sunstroke about their involvement in the brand for the last 6 years. We will also be detailing some of our plans for summer with a trip of discovery to Europe; we can’t wait to share our findings with you all as we will be taking in some of the world’s best clubs and festivals while we are away.
