As we celebrate our 41st anniversary, we shine the spotlight on the top 50 architectural practices in India that have played a role in defining the identity of our civilisation. Unarguably, this has been one of the most challenging issues to curate. As we clinked our glasses to celebrate 41 glorious years as chroniclers of design, we also embarked on the herculean task of shining the spotlight on the top 50 practices in India. A task, it was. To find the best, amongst the best! Here’s us raising a toast to our design visionaries, the names who are defining the visual identity of the world we live in. So, instead of us writing about architecture, architects, and designers; we turned to the industry. We looked to the luminaries of the design industry to understand what matters to them, what design means to them, and how they respond to challenges. Over the last few weeks, our only job was to listen, and absorb! And it has been an exhilarating experience.
