still hopelessly devoted 'I'M KEEPING KELLY'S MEMORY ALIVE'

Staying Alive for his kids was reason enough to keep the grieving star going
still hopelessly devoted 'I'M KEEPING KELLY'S MEMORY ALIVE'

He turned 70 on February 18 and there’s no doubt about it. Life has been a wild ride for John Travolta.

The Pulp Fiction star has gone from Hollywood sensation to Hollywood has-been and then back to A-lister once again. He enjoyed one of the acting world’s most successful marriages and then endured the loss of both his wife, Kelly Preston, and his eldest son Jett, who was 16.

Through it all, the acting legend has kept his dignity and sense of humour – and three-and-a-half years after Kelly lost her cancer battle, those close to John say he’s once again finding his feet.

The key to his recovery has been his two surviving kids, Ella, 23, and Ben,13.

“The kids are everything to him,” shares a source. “If it weren’t for them, it’s hard to know what he’d do. They talk about Kelly, and reminisce about their fun times, plus their highs and lows too. John has pictures of Kelly around the house and she’s still very much in their lives. Their memories keep them all going.”

The Grease star, a fullylicensed 737 pilot and Qantas ambassador, lives in Florida in a house that boasts its own runway, a taxiway that leads right up to his house and two outbuildings for his five airplanes. John was on his best form in Los Angeles recently when he presented Prince Harry with a Living Legend of Aviation award for his work as a helicopter pilot in the British army.
