Neiza by Neeti Seth

SHORT & SWEET

Come snow or squalls, wearing a bomber jacket or a trench coat with your lehenga or sari won't cut it. Cue: complementing outerwear. "Neiza primarily creates shawls and capes, made using a variety of materials and crafts. Our signature aesthetic is a combination of Indian design elements and fashion-forward styles. We use a range of natural fibres such as wool, silk and cashmere," reveals Neeti Seth, creative director of Neiza.

FIRST IMPRESSION

"Inspired by Indian culture, Neiza incorporates traditional classic embroidery techniques such as zari and zardozi to add a unique and elegant touch. One way to style a Neiza cape with traditional Indian wear is to pair it with a bralette and lehenga. The result will be modern, fresh and winter-appropriate. Adding a cape with a sari is also a great option, like a red embroidered cape with a gold Benarasi sari or a neutral one with a vibrant drape. For a boho vibe, team a cape or gilet with flared pants," suggests Neeti. Tarun Tahiliani is known for his signature gilets, while Varun Bahl often crafts short jackets with his couture pieces.
