HOLLYOAKS star Jorgie Porter has revealed her pet dog saved her family from armed robbers who tried to break in to their house as they slept.
The soap actress, 36, her businessman fiancé Ollie Piotrowski and their son Forest, 11 months, were tucked up in bed when Dobermann Stella started barking.
Realising Stella was sounding an alarm, Jorgie and Ollie checked their security cameras and were horrified to see masked intruders trying to get through their gate.
NIGHTMARE Thankfully, Stella's barking disturbed the burglars, who fled.
Afterwards, the couple realised the robbers had spent up to two hours trying to disable their security system.
Speaking on our Invite Only podcast alongside her Hollyoaks co-star Kieron Richardson, Jorgie says: "Our dog Stella saved us. She scared them away, so they didn't get in.
"But it was the scariest thing because we were all in
[the house]. And you can see from the CCTV footage that they had things... we don't know what they were holding.
"I was asleep, but Ollie heard Stella barking in a different way. So he went to check on her, and when he looked outside... the lights [on the system] were off.
"He phoned the police and they then turned up.
