A YOUNG woman who 'loved to make people laugh' and dreamed of one day becoming a nurse was found 'unresponsive' by staff in her bedroom at a locked psychiatric unit, an inquest has heard.
Amina Ismail was found fatally injured in her room on the Pankhurst Ward, a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal near Stockport on September 15 last year. Emergency services attended the scene, but she was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.
