Post boss claimed 'victims tempted to steal'

FORMER Post Office boss Paula Vennells suggested subpostmasters were "tempted" to borrow cash from tills, the inquiry into the Horizon scandal heard.

Tory peer James Arbuthnot, who campaigned on the scandal, said bosses ran a "behind-the-scenes deception process" and were "stringing MPs along" to defend their faulty IT system.
