As a fan favorite or a part of our reading audience, you probably wish to know just what DW3 stands for! Well, it stands for Down With 3 as the group was once a force of four! Coming out to great the audience today first is Damon! Damon, a strong vocalist of the three calls out immediately for all the sexy ladies! He serenades the ladies with 'On the Floor,' a 2013 release for the band.
Joined on the catwalk by William, the two proudly sing a song entitled, 'California Love'. As if 'California Love' was not enough, William and Damon break out with 'California Dreamin,' a 1965 tune by the Mama's and the Papa's. The pair encourage the audience to keep dreamin! Dream on! Next, the pair sweetly shares Michael Jackson's 1982, 'Lady in My Life'. The audience is up on their feet dancing with William and Daman as they groove to, 'Rappers Delight'. The band continues to share R&B sounds that keep the audience on their feet going forward, songs that include 'Shake Your Body,' 'Cool,' 'She's Strange, 'Mary Jane' and 'Never Too Much'. This band came to party and please the audience this sunny afternoon. They will be a fan favorite at Seabreeze without a doubt for years to come! And so, we thank this novelty group for all their contributions to the music industry thus far and ask them to please keep up the great work they do each and every day!
SJM: Many music lovers may not know how you all came together. So, what is your origin story?
DW3: So, we started the group in 1993. We started out as a R&B/pop, boy band group back then and it progressively evolved into what we are today. Billy and I are brothers (Eric), and Damon joined the group later. It is when Damon joined the group ten years later, that's when we started releasing albums!
SJM: Billy and Eric, at what point did you all realize you were good vocally and could make this all happen?
