A Cut Above the Rest

"I don't really have free time," proclaims Aiyana Chua, the daughter of doctors Kevin and Iroshini Chua. Currently in the final year of her International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at Hwa Chong International School, Chua spends most of her time "studying and attending classes".

However, despite her hectic schedule, she devotes time to community service. Since the beginning of 2023, Chua has been actively volunteering with Young PAP, the youth wing of the People's Action Party (PAP), which seeks to nurture new blood and young minds into its leadership. "I wanted to be more of service to the people by giving back and contributing to society," Chua shares.
