LIGHT-UP LEAF GARLAND

SHOPPING LIST

✔ Green paper (double sided) ✔ Acrylic paint pens (or colouring pencils) ✔ Scissors ✔ Green masking tape (such as Frog Tape) ✔ LED fairy lights

1 Draw out your leaf shapes onto your green paper using a green paint pen. The leaf shape should be no more than 6cm in length and include a small rectangle at the bottom (this will act as a tab for attaching the leaf to the tape). Add whatever pattern to the leaf you like, we went for a varied design with pink veins. Draw as many leaves as is required for your length of fairy lights. Allow the leaves to dry.

2 Cut out your leaf shapes, turn them over and then repeat your pattern on the reverse of the leaves, so that they'll look fabulous from every angle.

3 Trim the green tape into short lengths and at the bottom of one of your leaves to the edge of the tape. Wrap the tape around the wire of your fairy lights between the bulbs with the leaf sticking out. Vary the number of leaves, and the direction they point, between each bulb to create a natural effect.
