This handsome bathroom comes complete with bespoke crafted basins, a sublime skylight and intricate detailing. It really is in a class of its own. The owners had resided in their home for 30 years, during which time the remaining interior spaces had been renovated. It was time to turn their attention to the bathroom. “With a strong passion for design, we wanted to include bespoke fittings and fixtures complemented by a palette of bold colour and texture,” noted homeowners Mark and Mike.

With Alisha McGilp, principal interior designer at Studio McGilp at the helm, the renovation process began. Alisha describes it as a “radical bathroom transformation. This is a private his-and-his sanctuary in a busy and unconventional household. The renovation captures the idiosyncrasies of a unique relationship and honours important daily rituals,” she reveals.
