The ground floor holds the common areas and a guest bedroom, while the upper level constitutes the rest of the bedrooms and a home theatre. Here, a custom designed console at the entrance separates the foyer area from the formal living room which further opens into the green outdoor area.
The existing layout comprised of small pockets having their definite function and utility. The idea was to open all the small individual spaces from within and connect them visually. —Kajal Shah, Principal Designer, Studio Yamini
The kitchen reveals a streamlined layout and includes a centrally placed backlit island featuring the use of onyx.
The light installation in the dining area makes a bold statement while in the informal seating area, the L-shaped leather finish sofa is complemented by a cosy armchair and a coffee table featuring a black Italian marble tabletop embellished with a herringbone pattern.
Infusing an artistic touch within the interiors are diverse artworks that are conspicuous against their neutral backdrops.
