The annual fashion graduation show saw innovative designs meet sustainable solutions
WHISTLING WOODS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF FASHION HOSTED AIYANNA 2023

Whistling Woods International (WWI) School of Fashion celebrated a remarkable display of creativity and sustainability at its annual fashion graduation show, Aiyanna 2023. The event, which marked its 7th edition, captivated a packed audience of industry professionals, esteemed guests, and parents of the graduating batch. ELLE caught up with Jewellyn Alvares, HOD, WWI School of Fashion, to know more about the creative fest.

ELLE: How does a platform like Aiyanna help budding talent?

Jewellyn Alvares (JA): Aiyanna is the launch pad for a huge pool of talent. This platform gives budding designers the ability to display their maiden collection in a professional showcase. But it is not only the show that's worth a mention. The students put together the most eclectic photoshoot and produce a lookbook that contains editorial content. All of these feature in their portfolio and are carefully curated and mentored so that they are industry-ready as soon as they graduate.
