Unit tests were scheduled the following month, and Zero was worried, "I might fail in Mathematics again."
Soon, the examinations began, and Zero performed well in all subjects except Mathematics. On the day of the results, Zero's fear became a reality.
"Zero, you have failed in Mathematics again," said their class teacher, Reena deer, as she handed out the report cards.
Zero was sad and silently returned to his seat after receiving the report card. His classmates, Miffy monkey, Gini deer, and Jiggy elephant, started teasing him, saying, "Zero, your Maths marks match your name!" Even after the bell rang, Zero remained seated, tears streaming down his face.
Then, someone placed a hand on Zero's back. Zero turned around to find the school principal, Romi bear, standing there.
"Why are you crying, Zero? Don't you want to go home?" Romi Sir asked.
"Sir, I have failed in Mathematics again.
My parents will scold me as soon as they get my report card," Zero replied, wiping his tears.
