"We play here every evening. Look, there's so much garbage in the park. Why don't we all clean it up together?" Mayank proposed.
"Good idea! If we all clean it together, it won't take much time, and the park will be clean too," Bunty and Tony agreed, but added, "We have a condition."
"Condition? What condition?" Mayank asked.
"You'll have to throw us a pizza party," Bunty said.
"That's great! I have enough money in my piggy bank to buy a pizza. Pizza party for you all!" Mayank happily agreed.
With their enthusiasm, the park quickly became neat and clean. Passers-by praised the children for their efforts.
After cleaning, the children washed their hands and faces. Mayank opened his piggy bank, took out the money, and ordered a large pizza. The pizza was ordered, but where would the kids eat it? As the children pondered this, Mayank's father called him.
"Son, your mother and I are going out for some work. We'll return home in the evening; stay at home until then," said Mayank's father and left.
Now it was clear that the children could have the pizza party at Mayank's house. They gathered there, and soon the pizza arrived. Mayank placed the pizza on a table in the back room and locked the front door from the outside.
With no adults at home, the children had complete freedom. They found a carrom board, cleaned it, and started playing. They also turned on the music system and listened to their favourite songs loudly.
The children thought they were alone in the house, but they were wrong! After Mayank's parents left, a thief had entered the house through the back door and hid in the back room, waiting to steal valuables.
