JILL DUGGAR DILLARD isn’t holding back. In her new memoir, Counting the Cost, the former reality-TV star lays bare the details of everything from her legal battle with parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar over money to how sick she felt watching how they “protected” her brother Josh, 35, after he molested Jill and three other underage girls. (He is currently in prison for child pornography crimes.) “It’s still hard to swallow,” Jill recently said, revealing that she finally called out her domineering father, telling him, “You treat me worse than you treat my pedophile brother.”
In response, Jim Bob and Michelle issued a public statement Sept. 11. The pair, who paraded their oversized family on 19 Kids and Counting for years, wrote, “We do not believe the best way to resolve conflicts, facilitate forgiveness and reconciliation... is through the media or in a public forum.”
