They say creativity loves a crisis and so, when Pria Kataaria Puri’s weight issues made it difficult for her to find comfortable yet chic outfits, she decided to take matters into her own hands. She designed free-flowing lounge-wear kaftans that have become fashion statements on their own merit today — with women flaunting them for all kinds of occasions.
“My love for kaftans originated from the demand for exquisite and flattering garments in larger sizes,” says the stunning designer, who cites Hermès, Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Dior as her favourites.
