According to Elandri de Bruyn, chief operating officer of Wagyu SA, local breeders were currently exporting small volumes of CWB to markets in the Middle East. However, the recently finalised beef export protocols between South Africa and China, as well as Saudi Arabia, would also allow CWB access to top-end markets in those countries.
