With Tasha’s going, my world just collapsed. Trying to analyse why, I realise that with her, apart from love, it was also such a physical bond. She was just always around me. Watching my every move. The moment I sat down, she would jump into my lap. If I lay on the bed, she would immediately jump up and sit on my stomach, put her head down on my chest, and listen to my heartbeat. If I am in the hammock, she is beside me sleeping. More than anything she was always staring at me, with so much love in her beautiful brown eyes. She really was my shadow and my shadow has now left me.
