When all the conches were blown at Kurukshetra, Arjuna woke up as the ‘Seeker of Knowledge’. Lord Krishna, the ‘Embodiment of Wisdom’, opened his eyes to an impartial view of all that was happening.
ARJUNA VISHADA YOGA
The Universe is a brilliant expression of Consciousness. Everything that you see here is nothing but an expression of the Consciousness, in all its radiance. The Creation of every object is to remind you that the Consciousness which has created the object is the basis of this Existence, is brilliant. Bharata signifies brilliance. Mahabharata means ‘the great brilliance’. The great brilliance comes with a song attached, which has a rhythm. This song is the Gita.
Bhagavad Gita means ‘The Divine Song.’ When there is war, one cannot sing. War simply means disharmony. Music signifies harmony. On a battlefield, knowledge is far, far away. Yet, knowledge is most necessary there. Wisdom is essential there and bringing this wisdom in the midst of war, not in a palace nor in a calm and peaceful place, is the brilliance of the Divinity. Bringing harmony where it is most needed, is the brilliance of the Divinity. Singing and speaking about the Self in a battlefield is nothing short of a miracle! And one who does this can only be an Expression of Divinity. The One who brings forth the wisdom of life in a battlefield, elucidates the Truth, is the Eternal Phenomenon.
