INSPIRED BY THE TROPICAL LANDSCAPE
When the great outdoors and nature play an integral role in your home, it makes sense that you’ll be able to enjoy panoramic views from within your glass box or industrial styled space. Engage hands-on designers and architects, however, and you’ll be able to maximize the natural airflow within the house while simultaneously incorporating little luxuries like pools and ponds to further cool down the interiors. Tucked away in a location that provides ample privacy, these homes stands out with its unique architectural features.
FROM TE TOP
INTERIOR DESIGN FIRM, GENESIZ GANDESIGN HELPED GARY TO ACHIEVE THE INTERIOR HE VISUALISED.
Former singer and actor Gary Wong chose to settle down in one of the units at Damansara Foresta condominiums, which is perched upon a hilltop. For Gary, a typical day starts when he wakes to the sound of birds chirping. His bachelor pad, inspired by Jonathan Adler’s modern-contemporary design, is an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city after a busy day at work.
As someone who enjoys quiet and serenity, Gary spends a lot of quality time alone sipping coffee when he’s not entertaining family and friends. During his free time, he likes to read within the comforts of the chic interior, which flaunts soothing earthy hues complemented by reflective accents. The tranquil atmosphere of his home is elevated by his personal collection of scented candles, black-out curtains, a gorgeous piece of artwork, and large glass windows that reveal the lush outdoor greenery, setting the beautiful backdrop of his living space.
