Virtual Reality Porn... It's Addictive!

Forget such noble industries as medicine, education or military training, it is good (or bad, depending on how you see it!) ol’ pornography that has provided a real boom in Virtual Reality. Users are embracing VR with a passion – the intimacy is evidently impossible to beat. VR offers the chance to make a viewer feel like s/he is actually in the room, in the middle of the action, establishing a virtually real connection. What VR offers for the first time is the opportunity to move from being simply an observer to being a participant, which hugely changes the experience. Virtual reality uses multiple camera lenses to record the same scene from different angles.

The final result, when the scenes are merged, gives the viewer a 180- or 240-degree view of the room and the feeling that s/he is there, participating. The experience is shockingly realistic compared with standard video clips. VR not only gives you the image in three dimensions, but when the viewer moves their head, the image adjusts to their line of sight. It’s as if you are inhabiting the person’s body, watching the action through the character’s eyes.
