Excellent beaches, top class excursions, buzzing nightlife and an underwater paradise, Sharm El Sheikh has something to offer every traveller. Plus, its prime location at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and its proximity to the desert give the city an air of mystery and romance.
CHARMING SHARM EL SHEIKH
After exploring the history and culture of ancient Egypt in Cairo and Alexandria, our next stop was Sharm El Sheikh for a relaxing getaway. After an hour-long flight from Cairo, we were transported to the Maritim Jolie Ville Resort & Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh. Our spacious suite was luxe and plush. This attractive resort is built in a Mediterranean style and spreads over several acres with pretty lawned gardens and numerous swimming pools.
Our guide gave us a quick brief about the city before we were ready to explore the old town and some famous historical sites.
