This is your fourth movie with director Luv Ranjan and what is the kind of rapport that you’ve built with him over time?
Pehle bhi utna hi accha tha, abhi bhi utna hi accha hai. I think irrespective of the stardom, he is someone I always have and will look up to. So, with Luv sir, it’s a relationship and a bond that I share with someone who I really listen to. I believe in whatever he says and follow that.
So is he like an inspiration or a guru or somebody who you look up to?
There are very few people in your life who you can actually talk to about everything and Luv sir occupies the same position in my life, be it professional or personal, and I trust him.
Do you consider him as your lucky charm or will you be able to move away from him?
Yes, we are lucky for each other. There are a very few actor-director duos who have become famous in our country and thankfully, people now count us as a part of that list. We have a very understanding relationship and want the association to go on and do good work. But yes, I want to work with others as well.
You’ve been working with Nushrat Bharucha for quite sometime now. What is your comment on the amazing chemistry which you both share onscreen?
