Gregg & Chanelle A Match Made In Heaven

THEY were both just teenagers when they met. She was 13 and he was four years her senior. A lover of the arts, she starred in a musical production he attended. After the show, he congratulated her and the rest, as they say, is history. The charming love story of South Africa’s darlings – Chanelle Sardinha and Gregg Hammond – entered a new chapter when the couple exchanged vows at Val de Vie Estate in the Paarl-Franschhoek Valley in December last year.

With a chain of mountains painting the backdrop, the Pavilion and Polo field was the perfect setting to marry one’s childhood sweetheart.

The build-up to Chanelle and Gregg’s wedding has been months in the making. The pair, who officially started dating seven years ago, wanted a wedding that was both traditional and unconventional – just like their relationship. Of course, we all knew it would be a glamourous and beautiful affair, even without the added glitz: Chanelle and Gregg are among the beautiful people in South Africa.

Gregg started off his career as a model and has many achievements under his belt including Cosmopolitan’s Sexiest Man Of The Year, making the cover of Men’s Health, being named Business Day’s Power Dresser Of The Year and GQ Magazine’s Most Stylish Man Of The Year, among others. Today he is a successful international attorney with over six years of practice behind him.
