Hilton Worldwide’s first luxury resort property in India, Hilton Shillim Estate Retreat and Spa, opened doors near Lonavala five years ago. Back then, it positioned itself as a luxury weekend getaway— an all-villa resort, semi-agrarian and set amidst 320 acres of woodland. Six months ago, the resort rebranded itself as a detox and wellness destination, targeting a growing audience for health holidays. The resort’s General Manager Abhijit Ghosh speaks to BlackBook about what this means for the brand.
What is Hilton Shillim’s USP?
Our biggest USP is our location and the land we occupy. The resort sits on a massive conservation land, and we have taken care to preserve the vast forest zones.
