We Chat With The Ducati’s Boss-Man About The Iconic Brand's History And Future
This is the tenth edition of the World Ducati Week. How does it feel?
CD: It’s very special because it is the tenth anniversary. The first one was in 1998 and actually, it was 20 years ago. When I look back, the company now is very different from what it was 20 years ago. Far bigger, but more than that, it’s much more international. In terms of markets, we have India, China, Thailand and Brazil. We are really a global company even if we are still medium sized – because it is still 1,600 people and 740 million Euro turnover. The product range is also much wider. Back then, Ducati was only sports bikes. Now, we have sports bikes, touring bikes, enduro bikes, the Scrambler and also cruisers.
TG: What has changed in the Ducati buyer from 1998 to 2018?
