Enjoy unbelievable silverfish sport on this tiny drain.

Free To Fish... Full Of Big Roach!

THE UK is networked by tiny running waterways that many don’t give a second thought to – but you’d be amazed at the world-class sport they can offer.

In places narrow enough to step over, and so shallow they look devoid of life, it’s easy to understand why anglers rarely take a gamble on these places.

But there are a group in the minority that get a thrill from unearthing previously hidden gems, and a Lincolnshire pioneer has discovered what is arguably the best roach fishing available in the land.

Cocking Pit Drain – also known as Chapel Main Drain – ticks very few boxes based on appearance alone. Steep banks and crystal-clear water offer very little inspiration, but what lies beneath the surface is truly breathtaking.

A 1lb-plus roach every chuck is genuine possibility, with 30 or more roach over that barrier on the cards on even the bleakest of days.

Parking is available behind every spot, and minimal tackle is all that is required to launch your assault.
