The eight new initiatives

MeitY will work jointly with DIPP, NITI Aayog and DoT to create an enabling framework for the ESDM industry through the eight core initiatives listed here.

Ease of doing business: A concerted effort will be made, starting from the national to the state levels, and in some cases even at the municipality level, to ensure ‘Ease of doing business’. MeitY is going to run a strong and dedicated campaign to explain the strategic importance of this sector to the various stakeholders in order to highlight the fact that the future of India is digital, and this can only be realised with electronics. The foremost objective will be to get this message across in a compelling manner so that every state, and not just the proactive ones, realise how important ESDM is for growth, whether it is in terms of employment or import substitution.
