THE MAHINDRA SCORPIO has been on sale in our market for over 15 years now. The SUV has earned a reputation for being tough, abuse-friendly and fairly reliable, and that’s one of the biggest reasons why it's still a steady seller for Mahindra, in spite of several new SUVs coming to the Indian market. With this update, the Scorpio gets more power, a new six-speed manual transmission, and a minor facelift.

The updated Scorpio continues to be powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine, but it now uses a bigger turbocharger, so power is gone from 120hp to 140hp. The SUV has always been easy to drive and with this bump in performance, it feels even more effortless. put your foot down in any gear and it takes speed in a nice and smooth manner. it’s so good that even when you slow down for a speed breaker at speeds below 10kph, you can easily drive off in second gear with ease without any delay from the turbo.
