The attacking midfielder finished as the competition’s top scorer with six goals and was on target in the final as the Red Rebels thumped Czech side Prague Raptors 4-0 on the shores of Lake Garda.
Bennett, who was released by Championship side Preston last summer, was subsequently named player of the tournament and Reynolds believes the Wales under-19 international will soon be back in the big time.
“When you’ve been part of an academy and involved in pro football for that long, you get released and it feels like the world has come to an end,” said Reynolds.
“He kind of lost his way, went around a couple of Non-League clubs, then we signed him around Christmas and he’s been a revelation. He’s loved it, and you saw that in the final.

“He was joint-leading goalscorer in the tournament but he was unplayable in that game. He was like a bull, totally unstoppable. They couldn’t get near him and he deservedly won player of the tournament.
