'Bad Ass' Cruise Truck

It all started when Russell Carsten came across a photograph of the famous Jimmy Shine Bare Metal 1934 Pickup on the internet. Russell knew then and there that he just had to have it and so he the plan to replicate this pickup was developed using all South African labour. As a child, Clyde Schuster used to walk past a garage where the owner used to have an Impala in the showroom and he vowed that one day, when he was all grown up, he would own a car just like it. It took many years but finally, he had one. This is just one of the many dream cars that he has but this one is extra special as it is the fulfillment of a childhood dream.

The 1969 Chevy Camaro has always held spot in my heart. The aggressive lines and classic body shape is something that dreams are made of. On a trip to Creative Rides I came across one of the meanest looking 1969 Camaro’s I have ever seen. After some begging on my side I was allowed to take this baby for a bit of a drive.
